The foods that are avoided in the post gall bladder surgery diet are fried foods, high fatty foods, nuts, broccoli, and vegetables from the cabbage family.

These foods produced more gas. Spicy foods are also avoided in the post gall bladder surgery diet. These foods put more burdens on the digestive system which should be avoided after a gall bladder surgery.

Bloating, diarrhea, and burping are also caused by these foods and may be the cause for discomfort.
