is a sac like formation in the muscular wall of the colon at the point

for the surgery arises when the diverticulitis pain appears frequently,
contact between affected bowel and the other adjacent organs like the
bladder, skin or uterus. Diverticulitis Causes Complete or Partial Bowel Obstruction Laparoscopic surgery is the surgical treatment of this diverticulitis problem. This laparoscopic diverticulitis surgery is the easiest form of surgery, provided there are no other hindrances for the surgery. Instead of a big cut and large incisions, small incisions help to perform the surgery easily. The camera used are so advanced that they show a clear picture of the problem which assists in the operation. The amount of blood loss is very less and painkillers are not necessary. The early discharge from the hospital gives a moral boost to the patient and they have a speedy recovery after the surgery. There are
also risks involved in laparoscopic diverticulitis surgery. The wound
may require a proper opening, drainage when there is wound infection. There are 10% chances of the diverticulitis to reoccur in the nearby areas or other parts of the colon, which may need further surgeries. The above-mentioned problems cannot be rectified with the help of laparoscopic surgery. Open surgery or the traditional surgery is the best solution to set the problem right.
